Hello! My name is Vanessa and I have been a part of the Nursing Profession since 2006. I obtained my education and Bachelor of Science Degree from South Dakota State University. Throughout my career, I worked in several different areas; from Pediatrics to Adult Critical Care, Cardiac Cath/StressLab,to theIntensive Care Unit, Sedation Dentistry and to a Clinic Setting. Though the roles and locations may be a vast part of this profession, the heart and soul of Nursing is compassion, dedication and service. This is why I chose to start the South Dakota Nurse Honor Guard. My desire is to honor nurses on their final journey for their dedicated, compassionate service to the Profession of Nursing.
